Know which newsletter issues bring visits and customers
No account needed. Tracked links and your action log.
What upTake reads from Newsletter
Newsletter gives upTake no way to read your posts, so nothing is read from Newsletter itself. You add a short tag to the link you share, like yoursite.com/?ut=newsletter. The upTake script on your site reads the tag when a visitor arrives, files the visit under Newsletter, then removes the tag from the address bar so the link stays clean when it is shared again.
How to connect Newsletter
You need an upTake project first; creating one takes about four minutes. There is nothing to connect: turn Newsletter on in the Integrations page, create a tagged link in Tracked links, and share that link in your posts.
What you see afterwards
Visits that arrive with your tag are filed under Newsletter on the overview and in Tracked links, with the signups and the revenue they led to. Log the post itself in one click and it gets its own line in the weekly report.
What upTake never reads
There is no login, no key and no access to your Newsletter account at all.
Whatever you connect, the IP addresses of your visitors are never stored, and the keys and accesses you give are stored encrypted and never sent back to your browser.
Good to know
You can disconnect Newsletter at any time from the Integrations page: upTake stops at once, and what was already imported stays in your project until you delete it. Your data is hosted in the European Union, and you can export all of it, or delete your account, from Settings.
Why connect it
Most analytics tools stop at where your visitors came from. upTake goes one step further: it ties each visit and each payment back to the thing you did, whether a post, a link you shared or a release you shipped, and tells you every week what to do more of. Newsletter is one more piece of that picture.
