Use case

upTake for SaaS makers

You post on X, LinkedIn and Reddit, you ship every week, and your analytics shows a list of referrers. It does not say which post was followed by a paid plan.

So the next post is a guess: you repeat what got likes, which is rarely what got customers.

What upTake measures for you

  • Visits from each post, through a tag on your own link like yoursite.com/?ut=reddit.
  • Signups, reported by your site with one line of code.
  • Payments, read from Stripe, Paddle or Lemon Squeezy and matched to the visit behind them. A payment matched by time is marked as estimated.
  • Releases and merged pull requests from GitHub, drawn as markers on your traffic chart.
  • One report a week: what worked, what did not, and the moves to make next.

What it does not measure

  • What users do inside your app: upTake is not a product analytics tool.
  • Ad spend and ad platforms.

Follow one post from its tagged link to recorded visits, signups and payments. Compare the result with the next post before deciding where to spend your time.
