How to get your money back if upTake is not for you. Last updated: 29 October 2026.
Before you pay
Every new account gets 14 days of Pro for free, with no card required, so you can try everything before paying. Then the free plan stays free for as long as you like.
14 days to change your mind
- If upTake is not right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of the first payment of a subscription, monthly or yearly: you get the full amount back, no questions asked.
- This applies once per subscription. If you subscribe again after a refund, the new subscription has no refund period.
- The subscription is canceled when it is refunded, and your account moves to the free plan with all its data.
Renewals
- Renewals, monthly or yearly, are not refunded. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Plan, and you are not charged again: your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid.
- A yearly subscription is reminded by email before it renews, so you have time to cancel.
- If you were charged after you canceled, or charged twice, write to us: it is always refunded.
When we stop or change the service
If we close your account for no fault of yours, or stop the service, the unused part of the period you paid for is refunded. See the terms.
Right of withdrawal in the European Union
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the law gives you 14 days from your purchase to withdraw from it. The 14-day refund above covers this right in full: you do not lose it by starting to use upTake.
How to ask
- Write to support@upTake.me from the email address of your account, or reply to your Paddle receipt. Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record, issues the refund to the card or account you paid with.
- Refunds are usually sent within 5 business days. Your bank can take a few more days to show it.
